Mr. Manufacturer, how would you
like to employ an export sales manager with over 45 years experience
in international sales, export cargo shipping, and oilfield
production consulting? This successful and experienced salesman
would be unsalaried, pay all of his own office expenses, provide his
own transportation, all of his telecommunication expenses, pay all
of his own international travel expenses, put all of your products
on his top-ranked Website and you would only pay him a very
reasonable commission on your export sales.
Not only can you increase your business by exporting your products
to overseas markets, but also all domestic enquiries generated by
your products being featured on
www.oilwell.com can also dramatically increase your domestic
sales. Any domestic sales increases would be a fringe benefit and
you won’t have to pay a commission on them.
The U.S. Department of Commerce recognizes Oilfield Equipment
Services as an EMC, or Export Management Company.
Oilfield Equipment Services manages the International Marketing
of U.S. Manufacturers’ products by aggressively seeking out sales
agents, dealers, stocking distributors and original equipment
manufacturers throughout the World. Oilfield Equipment Services
assists the U.S. Manufacturer in quoting export sales by obtaining
quotation of the costs for export crating, inland freight costs to
the appropriate nearest airport or ocean port, all in-port handling
charges, and air or ocean freight costs to the appropriate foreign
destination.
Oilfield Equipment Services also books the cargo with the
appropriate carrier, arranges for cargo insurance (if required),
creates the “Master” of the Airway Bill or Ocean Bill of Lading,
creates the Commercial Invoice and Packing List. We offer an
accumulated experience of over one hundred years of ocean and
airfreight forwarding; export documentation, international payments
and Letter of Credit negotiations.
All sales agents, representative and distributors, after Oilfield
Equipment Services and the Manufacturer mutually approve them,
will sign an agreement with the Manufacturer on the
Manufacturer’s letterhead.
Oilfield Equipment Services arranges Training Seminars for
several foreign salesmen at a time so that, over several days, each
client manufacturer has the opportunity to introduce the technology
behind his products and the most important sales techniques to
promote his products to the foreign customer. These Training events
are normally scheduled in conjunction with large oilfield and
industrial equipment exhibitions such as the “Offshore Technology
Conference” in Houston, or the “Permian Basin Oilfield
Exhibition” in Odessa, or the "Louisiana Gulf Coast Oilfield
Exhibition" in Lafayette. This is profitable for each agent as
he can visit the exhibition for two or three days and then stay two
or three more days for the training sessions.
Oilfield Equipment Services also arranges for participation in
foreign oilfield and industrial equipment exhibitions. In
those events, several U.S. Manufacturers can participate and share
the expenses for their participation. |
